ACTION UIOWA TASK FORCE

About Us

The Action UIowa Task Force is a completely student founded, led, and executed organization. We are not affliated with the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and the ideas and views of our organization are solely a representation of the students on the Action UIowa Task Force.

Mission Statement:

We pledge to stand up for the governmentally recognized marginalized identities at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry encompassing students, staff, faculty, and patients. We will put forth initiatives to demand a better culture at the College of Dentistry. We will aim to be transparent and hold the school accountable for the initiatives moving forward. These initiatives will directly result in more culturally competent health care providers who will strive to dismantle systemic racism and decrease the health disparities in the communities they work in.
